After Abortion Support

A woman’s experience with abortion is unique to her. The decision is often difficult and many women are surprised by the resulting emotional turmoil. Processing an abortion is often a complex experience, as many people have many different emotional reactions and thoughts on the matter. Regardless of political opinions, abortions can be traumatic and difficult for those who elect to have them. Whether you have recently received an abortion or are still processing one from years ago, we want to help you find peace.

Please know you are not alone and we care about you!

Agape Women’s Services offers Forgiven and Set Free, a 10-week Bible study for women who have experienced an abortion in their past. The support groups are small, confidential, and supportive. They provide women a safe place to talk about their past abortion experiences and receive God’s healing and comfort. Participants will learn how to apply biblical truths to commonly reported symptoms such as:

  • Anxiety
  • Guilt or Shame
  • Grief
  • Self-destructive behaviors
  • Depression
  • Anger
  • Emotional numbing
  • Recurring thoughts or nightmares surrounding the abortion

As with every other service through Agape, confidentiality is important to us. Nothing you share will be shared with others. We will walk with you and believe you can experience hope, help, and healing.
